Abstract

This study examines the effects of President Trump’s tariff policies on international trade dynamics, focusing on key U.S. trading partners such as China, the EU, Canada, and Mexico. It aims to explain how protectionist trade measures have transformed international economic relations. This study takes a mixed-methods approach to understanding the effects of Trump’s tariffs by integrating quantitative trade statistics with qualitative policy analysis. The results show that tariff policies have a major effect on trade flows, global supply chain links, and economic growth in nations.
